About the event
The Appalachian Playwriting Festival will be held from September 21-22, 2024 at Parkway Playhouse. This festival will feature staged readings of new plays written by Appalachian Playwrights or plays that celebrate Appalachian Culture. One script from this festival will be chosen to be produced in our 2025 Mainstage Season! To learn more about the Appalachian Playwriting Festival, follow this link.
The Winner of the Appalachian Playwriting Festival will do a staged reading of their play at the Center for Pioneer Life on September 28th at 5:30PM. This will take place directly after the Harvesting Heritage Festival at the Center as well.
Admission for the Harvesting Heritage Festival is $5, admission for the staged reading is $10 and admission for both is just $15! To buy tickets, use the buttons below.
