Tour Schedule
Guided tours are available Fridays and Saturdays from April through October, with tour times scheduled between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
Each guided tour offers a walk through our 12-acre living history farm, featuring the 1840s Josiah and Frances Ray Young Cabin—an original historic home that offers a powerful glimpse into daily life in early Appalachia. Visitors will explore the Settlement Cabin, a replica of the first cabin built by early pioneers upon arrival, along with the blacksmithing forge, springhouse, chicken coop, pig pen and farm animals including goats, a horse, and a cow. The farm also features an historic garden and working crop fields as part of the experience.
