About the event

Jeremy Heidenfelder hails from Green Mountain. Jeremy received his bachelor's degree in Geology with a concentration in Paleontology from Appalachian State University. He's pursuing a master's degree in Museum Studies from the University of Oklahoma. He worked as an educator for the Pisgah Astronomical Institute and he was a member of 4H for eight years. Jeremy's working now with the Center for Pioneer Life. He is a member of the Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists and of the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology. 


Come and hear him speak about riassic reptiles called Tanystropheids that evolved before the dinosaurs.
