Our first History Happy Hour will feature Dr. Kevin W. Young. Dr. Young is a Yancey County native and professor of English at Appalachian State University. Dr. Young will discuss history of Yancey County and his newest book, "The Violent World of Broadus Miller: A story of Murder, Lynch Mobs, and Judicial Punishment in the Carolinas."
