Celebration of 2026 Financial Campaign Completion

The story of the Center for Pioneer Life has always been about preserving the past while building something meaningful for the future. This year, your support has helped us do both.

Thanks to the generosity of 50 sponsors contributing $2,500 each, we successfully raised $125,000 through our 2026 financial campaign.

Combined with a generous $100,000 matching contribution from the family of Fred and Phyllis Young, this brings the total impact of the campaign to an incredible $225,000.

This remarkable achievement, along with the continued support of our members, has helped secure the Center’s financial foundation for 2026 and allows us to continue preserving Appalachian heritage, educating students, caring for our historic site, and creating meaningful programs for our community.
