Pine Needle Baskets with Erika Schneider

Service Description

The traditional craft of pine needle basketry has deep roots in the Southeast, where long-leaf pines provide an ideal natural material for coiling into vessels. In this workshop participants will learn about the rich history of this unique form of basketry, and be introduced to a variety of stitches and techniques to create a basket of their own. All materials needed to get started will be provided.
