Course Description

Mead making is one of the oldest known forms of fermentation and with the right knowledge and ingredients, anyone can make a beautiful honey wine.  Students will spend an afternoon learning all about how to brew mead themselves at home in this hands-on workshop.  At the end of the class attendees will receive a link to the class presentation for their future reference.

IMPORTANT: Students must bring with them 1 quart of honey (preferably local sourced).  The instructor will provide all other materials, such as fermentation buckets, lids, airlock, yeast and yeast nutrients for successful fermentation,  sanitizer and cleaner for one batch.
